Design and Manufacturing of Foam Roller Cutting Machine

Abstract

In large scale industries, where production rate is very high, labours make a key difference in build time, manufacturing cost and hence the total economic gain. The study focuses on designing and manufacturing a machine which can cut rollers from PU foam sheets at much higher rate than current process by understanding the working principle and the required product. Thus, the initial advantages are kept hold of and the drawbacks are overcame. The machine has applications mainly in painting industry.
