FOREST FIRE DETECTION AND PREDICTION USING IOT

Abstract

In this paper,The proposed work is to develop and implement a self-sustaining IOT-based device that can predict and detect forest fire. The planned project would also detect precise position and send a warning message to the appropriate officials. The effect of a fire spreading over a wide area may be reduced if it is detected and prevented in a timely manner[1,8]. Our IOT based designed implementation uses Arduino UNO, Smoke sensor, LDR sensor, Temperature sensor, MEMS sensor [5,10].
