DESIGN OF A SMART WOMEN SAFETY BAND USING IOT and MACHINE LEARNING

Abstract

TheIn the current circumstance of the world, the women are confronting parcel of harassments and security issues. The significant perspective is to give safety and security to women from disturbances. The proposed system for women comprises of a wearable security band which tracks the location and will send alert messages to the close by police headquarters and the emergency contact list. Furthermore, the band will also be useful in circumstances like fainting and so on. The security is provided by continuous monitoring of the pulse rate and temperature utilizing sensors. The proposed system depends on raspberry pi, pulse sensor, temperature sensor, GPS and camera. If the value of temperature increases and pulse rate changes above the pre-defined value it will send the alert message using Wi-Fi module present in the raspberry pi 3. Machine Learning(ML) technology which follows logistic regression algorithm. Python is used for coding logistic regression algorithm in Jupyter IDE or of Anaconda Navigator. Consequently, the location can be tracked using GPS module and alert message is sent.  By implementing the proposed system safety and security can be provided to women sending alert messages to the nearby police headquarters and emergency contact list.
